My husband is a building contractor, and although I have helped with the bookkeeping, I’d never run payroll before. I did a Google search to get an idea of my choices, so I could take a closer look and compare the options. I dismissed the alternatives quickly because Roll by ADP was the best fit for me. I’ve always been very hands-on and like to do things independently.

Maine recently changed its online tax filing system, and I had completely forgotten about it until I tried to file my quarterly taxes. I went back and found emails I received from Roll notifying me of the date I had to be switched over to Maine’s new tax portal. The instructions guided me through what I needed to enter in the Roll chat feature to get the information I needed. It was straightforward and helpful, and I could correctly file my taxes.

When my husband had to do payroll for his business in the past, he would need to spend time on the phone with someone to get it done. I don’t have to do any of that.
